Structure

We manage our clients' capital via separately managed accounts (SMAs) through an independent, regulated broker. Unlike hedge funds that take custody of client assets, we replicate our strategy for each client in an account in their own name. This creates efficiencies and reduces risk to the client since the independent broker is the custodian, not 38x Holdings.

The SMA structure allows investors full, real-time transparency into their investments. This also affords investors superior liquidity, customizable reporting, and greater control over their hard-earned assets. 

 

38x Holdings has a partnership mentality (despite the SMA structure). All the PM's assets are invested alongside you in the identical strategy.

Philosophically, we don't believe in placing restrictions on our partners such as lockups or redemption gates. Mutual trust & alignment with our investors is the foundation of 38x Holdings. We build this mutual trust via getting to know and communicating clearly with our investors over a period of time. If we have mutual trust and understanding, then all else is superfluous.

Given our long investment horizon, we recommend that clients only invest assets with at least a 5 year timeframe in mind (and optimally much longer). We are investors, not traders, and hope our clients invest alongside us with a similar mentality.
